Update on Maddy

Well Maddy has been so much fun we did have a slight problem in the beginning with him gaining weight. The doctor says its called failure to thrive and I hate that saying but it is what it is. He is doing much better now and he is looking much better. When he was at his worst he looked like a baby vulture with no feathers it was BAD. Now he is better he is all smiles and giggles. he is such a joy to mommy and I love him so much. Its kinda funny how you can love 2 boys the same and know one for a longer time then the other. I am taking some medication to help with the breast feeding and that is going good too. He is sleeping through the night already and holding his head up almost on his own but trying very hard. hes not quite sure about tummy time but we are working on it.

Mommy and Daddy

Well since I haven't blogged in a while while i was gone it was mommy's 24th birthday and Mommy and Daddy's 6th year wedding anniversary oh how the time fly's. Jimmy and i are doing great better then we ever have and I feel like I say that all the time but I think all we are doing is getting better as time goes by. Jimmy's job is going great and I am looking forward to working a little side job after the first of the year. Just a few days a week so the kids don't have to go to daycare. We are trying to find the time to go to the gym and get in better shape, and other then that the kids keep us very busy I am not sure if we even get time with each other very often, but its worth it.

Update on Xander

Since it has been so long since i have blogged for everyone I am just going to split it up and do an update on everyone separately. Xander is getting so big and so testy. He has the funniest personality and he is so fun to be with. He loves being a big brother and he is so sweet with maddy. One day Jimmy had come downstairs to get something and Xander had taken maddy out of his swing and was carrying him around the living room. He is so funny and loves to be laughed at we know that he will be the class clown when he gets older. He loves to tickle everyone and make funny faces at you. He does have quite a few words that he says like hi, boat, dog , mommy, daddy, bye bye, bath, bite,more,and the list goes on. The other night about 2 weeks ago he was walking across the living room and Zigen saw something that he thought was food and darted in front of him knocking him over. As Xander fell he landed right on the base of the ottoman and cut his eyebrow open in a perfect T shape. So after a midnight run to the Instacare and some glue and screaming later he was all bandaged up.

Other then that everything else with Xander is great he loves his baths, he loves Jimmy and he loves his family. We wouldn't trade him for anything.

Halloween

So we went to grandma Edeen for Halloween pumpkin carving and dinner. Uncle Jason brought the saw and got stuck carving everyone elses pumpkins. He did Jimmys Mommys and uncle Don's. Xander helped b getting into eveything and running around and Maddy helped by sleeping the entire time. Xander and Daddy rode on cousin Colbys scooter and everyone had fun. On halloween night we went trick or treating but it started to rain so we came home early.
